Poland’s Adrian Tekliński won gold in the men's scratch race at the Track Cycling World Championships in Hong Kong on Thursday.

Tekliński attacked seven laps before the end, gaining more than half a lap advantage over his rivals, which he maintained right to the finish line.
Lucas Liss of Germany took silver and Britain’s Chris Latham the bronze.
Tekliński’s win is the biggest success in the 28-year-old’s career so far. At last year's European championships near Paris he took the silver.
