Poland’s Lewandowski is a dad

“Today we have become parents of Klara,” Lewandowski said, adding: “Thank you Anna Lewandowska for endurance”.

Lewandowski announced that his wife Anna was expecting after a match between his team Bayern Munich, and Atletico Madrid, in early December last year.

During that match, he dedicated a goal to his unborn child, and at the same time signalled the upcoming announcement by placing a ball under his jersey and miming thumb-sucking. (vb/pk)
