The pair lost 2:6, 5:7 in the second round to Romanian players Irina-Camelia Begu and Simona Halep.
In the second set, Rosolska and Hibino were 5: 1 ahead, but then lost six games in a row.
Their defeat means no Poles are left in the Madrid event.
Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwańska had been scheduled to play in the singles, but withdrew from the tournament because of a foot injury.
