Konrad Bukowiecki lost his shot put and discus titles and his shot put world record after he tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug called higenamine, the daily said.

He is expected to sue the Polish manufacturer which allegedly added the drug to its nutrient supplements, according to the daily.

“I feel cheated by the manufacturer, who did not include the illegal substance in its ingredients list,” Bukowiecki told the daily.

“The company does not feel it is at fault, but for me this is obvious. I demand compensation,” he told Super Express. (vb/pk)
