The Poles got off to a shaky start on Thursday night, but quickly composed themselves, taking the first set 25:19.
They continued strong in the second set, winning 25:15, before the game evened out in the third, with the teams going point for point to a score of 24:24, before Poland had a few poor plays to lose the set 26:28.
But the Poles came back fighting, taking the fourth set 25:19 and winning their third qualifier in a row.
Poland is now ranked equal first with Serbia in their group of the world championship qualifying round, ahead of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Iceland and Cyprus.
Only the top-scoring team in the group will automatically qualify for the 2018 tournament. (vb)
