Football: Legia Warszawa wins Polish championship

Warsaw's Legia football team has won its second Polish championship in a row after drawing 0:0 with Lechia Gdańsk in the final round of the Ekstraklasa league.

Lechia finished the competition in fourth place, behind Jagiellonia Białystock, from northeastern Poland, and Lech Poznań, western Poland, which drew 2:2 to finish in second and third place respectively.

This is the 12th time Legia has won the Polish championship title. (vb/pk)
