She opened with a 75.47-metre throw and followed with 77.67, 77.77, 77.39, 77.34 and 73.82-metre results.

Even her weakest final attempt was better than Chinese second-place winner Zheng Wang’s best throw of 73.54 metres.

It was Włodarczyk’s fourth Székesfehérvár challenge win in a row, throwing 78.1 metres last year, 75.48 metres the year before and 75.53 metres in 2014.

Poland’s Paweł Fajdek and Wojciech Nowicki compete in the men’s hammer throw challenge on Tuesday. (vb/PK)
