Tennis: Poland's Janowicz through to Poznań Open round two

Poland's Jerzy Janowicz has won his first-round match of the Poznań Open tennis tournament before a full house of 17,000.

Janowicz, who took out the tournament in 2012, beat Spain's Jaume Munara 7:6 (7-1), 6:2 in the challenger tour tournament in Poznań, western Poland, on Tuesday.
He will play Portugal's Goncalo Oliveira in round two.
Poland's Michał Dembek and Kamil Majchrzak also won their first-round matches.
They will play for a prize pool of EUR 64,000 (PLN 270,000).
The Poznań Open ends on Sunday. Entry to matches is free until Friday. (vb/pk)
