Tennis: Poland’s Kubot beaten in Cincinnati doubles semifinals

Poland’s Łukasz Kubot and his Brazilian partner Marcelo Melo crashed out of the ATP tennis tournament in the US city of Cincinnati after losing 4-6, 5-7 to India’s Rohan Bopanna and Croatia’s Ivan Dodig in the doubles semifinals.

In the quarterfinals, Kubot and Melo beat India’s Rohan Bopanna and Croatia’s Ivan Dodig 6-1, 6-7 (5), 10-7.

Kubot and Melo last month won the men’s doubles at the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament in London. (str)
