EuroBasket 2017: Poland beaten by France

Poland's national basketball squad has been beaten 75:78 by France in Helsinki, in their fourth match at the European Championships.

The match on Tuesday saw the Poles losing for the third time in the tournament.

On Wednesday, in their last match in the group stage, Poland take on Greece, playing for a place in the final 16.

Earlier in the tournament, the Poles lost 81:90 to Slovenia, beat Iceland 91:61 and were defeated 87:90 by Finland.

The 40th European Basketball Championships, which run until 17 September, are being hosted by Israel, Romania, Finland and Turkey, after Ukraine declined to hold the event because of its turbulent political situation.
