Women’s volleyball: Poland beaten by Azerbaijan

The Polish national women’s volleyball squad was on Sunday beaten 0-3 by Azerbaijan in their third and final group A match in the European Championships.

The Poles lost the game in Baku 14:25, 21:25, 23:25 in their first defeat in the tournament, which is being held in Azerbaijan and Georgia.

They will take part in play-offs on Wednesday for a place in the quarterfinals.

Earlier in the tournament the Poles beat Germany 3-2 and Hungary 3-1.
