Poland's Kubica to join Williams as F1 driver: report
PR dla Zagranicy
Polish driver Robert Kubica will sign with the British Williams team and return to Formula 1 racing in 2018 after a six-year hiatus, according to French cable television channel Canal+.
The channel said Kubica will partner with Canada's Lance Stroll.
The channel's report comes after Brazil's Felipe Massa last week announced that he would be retiring from the sport.
Kubica competed for Renault in Formula 1 in 2010, scoring three podiums in his season with the French manufacturer, before an injury sustained in a rallying crash in 2011 forced him to put his F1 career on hold. (vb/pk)
