The Polish-Brazilian duo on Wednesday beat American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan 6:4, 6:3 in their second match of the men’s doubles in London.

Kubot and Melo are tipped among the favourites to win this year’s ATP Finals, which run until November 19.

The ATP Finals are the second highest level of men's tennis tournaments after the four Grand Slam tournaments.

Kubot and Melo won the men’s doubles at the Paris Masters tennis tournament in the French capital earlier this month.

That victory marked Kubot and Melo’s sixth title of the season, after triumphs at Wimbledon, Miami, Madrid, Halle and s'Hertogenbosch.
