The Pole, a two-time Sochi Winter Olympics champion and the winner of the 2013/2014 World Cup, on Sunday finished behind Germany’s Richard Freitag, who leads this season’s World Cup standings, and ahead of Austria’s Stefan Kraft.

This was the 47th individual World Cup podium for Stoch in his career.

The second-highest placed Pole, Piotr Żyła, finished seventh.

Stoch has retained his fourth spot in the overall World Cup standings, while Żyła advanced from 13th to 10th place.

On Saturday, Stoch was third in the weekend’s first World Cup competition at Engelberg, or the Hill of Angels.
