Former Poland footballer Stanisław Terlecki died on Thursday at the age of 62 after a long illness.

The news of his death was reported on Twitter by Zbigniew Boniek, head of the Polish Football Association (PZPN) and a former teammate.
Terlecki played a total of 29 games and scored seven goals for Poland in his role as a midfielder-cum-striker from 1976 to 1980.
