Pyeongchang 2018: Poland finishes 10th in women's 4x5 relay

The Polish team finished tenth in the women’s 4x5km cross-country relay at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang on Saturday.

Following the event, skiing champ Justyna Kowalczyk said her team had aimed to make it into the top eight.

“This one time I messed up a bit, so I thought that the other team members would fight harder,” she was cited by the Sportowefakty website as saying.

Norway’s Marit Bjoergen secured the gold medal for her team, while Sweden took the silver and Olympic Athletes from Russia the bronze. (aba/pk)
