Poland’s Łukasz Kubot and his Brazilian partner Marcelo Melo have crashed out of the ATP Rio Open tennis tournament.

Kubot and Melo, ranked world No. 1 in the doubles, were beaten by Argentina’s Andres Molteni and Horacio Zeballos 6:7 (4-7), 2:6 in the quarterfinals in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In the first round, the Polish-Brazilian duo beat Nicolas Jarry of Chile and Jiri Vesely of the Czech Republic 6:4, 4:6, 10-4.
