The Polish goal machine, who also captains Poland’s national squad, found the back of the net in the third and ninth minutes of the game, adding to his tally as the highest-scoring foreign player in the German club's history.

This season Lewandowski is well on course for three major trophies with Bayern, who will face off against either Schalke or Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Cup final in Berlin on May 19.

Bayern have already sealed their sixth straight Bundesliga title and have set their sights on winning the Champions League.

Jupp Heynckes' men are set to play Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinals, with the first leg in Munich on April 25.

Lewandowski in early April moved up to take the No. 2 spot in a ranking of the top scorers in Europe's biggest football leagues this season.
