Millions for ski-jump hills in Poland’s Zakopane

The Polish government plans to spend PLN 50 million (EUR 11.6m, USD 13.3m) to upgrade two ski-jumping hills in the southern mountain resort of Zakopane.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that the Średnia Krokiew normal hill and the Mała Krokiew “small” hill in Zakopane have long needed modernisation.
"We know that a lot of money is needed," he added.
Sports Minister Witold Bańka said that the government had allocated over PLN 90 million for the modernisation of sports infrastructure in Zakopane between 2016 and 2018.
