Tennis: Poland’s Linette out of Tianjin Open

Poland’s Magda Linette has been beaten in the second round of the Tianjin Open tennis tournament in China.

Linette was on Wednesday defeated 1-6, 3-6 by Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka.
After losing the first set, Linette found herself 0-3 down in the second.
The Pole managed to pull back, but with the score at 3-4, Sabalenka powered ahead with a winning streak that saw her take the match.
Sabalenka last year made it to the final of the Tianjin Open, where she was defeated by Russia’s Maria Sharapova.
