Świątek, 17, will make her debut in a Grand Slam after defeating American Danielle Lao 6:1, 6:3 in the final stage of a three-phase qualifier on Friday.
Świątek, no. 178 in the WTA ranking, became the junior Wimbledon champion last year.
Majchrzak, no. 176 in the ATP rankings, reached the main draw of the Australian Open after winning against Germany’s Mats Moraing 6:3, 6:2 on Friday.
Last year, Majchrzak, 22, failed to qualify for any of the four Grand Slam tournaments.
