Ski jumping: No podium for Poles in Sapporo

Poland’s Piotr Żyła finished fourth and countryman Kamil Stoch was sixth in the second day of the ski jumping competition in Sapporo, Japan, on Sunday.

Austria’s Stefan Kraft won the event, ahead of second-placed Timi Zajc of Slovenia and Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi.
Sapporo is the first event in the FIS Ski Jump World Cup circuit.
The next competition is scheduled for early February in Oberstdorf, Germany.
