It was the 33rd World Cup victory in Stoch’s career. The Pole, a three-time Olympic champion, was the overall winner of last year’s World Cup.

Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi came second on Sunday while Norway’s Robert Johansson was third.

Poland’s Piotr Żyła finished 10th, and his countrymen Jakub Wolny and Dawid Kubacki finished 14th and 28th.

On Saturday, Polish ski jumpers finished fourth in the team competition.

Stoch last Sunday won the last of the weekend's three World Cup ski-flying competitions in Oberstdorf, Germany.
