The Sochi gold-medal winner recently underwent surgery to his leg following an injury.
It is not yet clear whether Stoch will be well enough to compete at this year’s Four Hills Tournament, which officially starts in late December.

“With regards to his first training session and returning to competing in, for example, the Four Hills Tournament, everything is in question. The operation was only performed ten days ago,” Aleksander Winiarski, the head of the orthopaedic unit at Poland’s Nowy Targ hospital, said on Monday.

“It is more realistic that he competes at the [ski-jumping] World Cup in Wisla and Zakopane,” Wisniarski added. (rg)
