President Obama stirs Polish protests with an astonishing blunder during a ceremony granting Jan Karski the US Medal of Freedom.
A ceremony of posthumoulsy granting the prestigious Medal of Freedom to Jan Karski, the legendary courier of the Polish wartime resistance who informed the United States and world leaders about the Holocaust, had been blemished after President Barack Obama made reference in his speech to "Polish death camps".
The slur was met with instant reaction in Poland. Slawek Szefs reports.
