Want to know who will win the Euro 2012 football championship? Well, don’t ask a bookie, ask Krakow Zoo’s Citta the Elephant!

The South African 2010 World Cup had Paul the Octopus to predict the scores, with uncanny accuracy.

For Euro 2012, Poland has the 33-year-old Citta the Elephant, a resident of Krakow Zoo, who beat off competition from a parrot to become the football tournament’s predictor of match results, after she successfully guessed that Chelsea would win the European Champions League final in May.

Our Krakow correspondent Nick Hodge went along to the zoo to meet Citta the Elephant, the Euro 2012 oracle.
