Polish baritone Mariusz Kwicień speaks about the new production of King Roger which is to be shown at the Santa Fe opera festival.
This Saturday, a new production of Szymanowski's King Roger opens at the Santa Fe summer opera season featuring Polish baritone Mariusz Kwiecień.
The prestigious Opera season in Santa Fe this year is presenting Karol Szymanowski's opera King Roger, directed by Stephen Wadsworth, one of the world's top opera directors.
The production is being supported by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the Polish Cultural Institute in New York. The title role is sung by Polish baritone Mariusz Kwiecień, with whom we present part of an interview which the artist gave to the Santa Fe opera.
