  • European Commission proposition 50-billion-euro infrastructure scheme meets criticism from several member states;
  • Eurozone Unemployment hit a record-high, according to Eurostat;
  • Leaked report indicates European power plants could cause some stress, should natural disasters occur;
  • Belarusian dissident Ales Bialiatski has been chosen as the winner of this year's Lech Walesa Award.
