e-Twinning is a programme that keeps proving great benefit as a platform for enabling students to work with partners online around Europe, on projects of their choice.
This cross-border eTwinning school project was launched by the European Commission in 2005. In Poland, it currently involves almost 20,000 teachers and the numbers are growing.

The main idea behind the scheme was to make school children more open to the cultural heritage of various European nations. The nework is a virtual classroom in which pupils and teachers from around 100,000 schools in 33 different countires can take part in interactive projects via the Internet. Michal Kubicki has more.
