What's Up :: Righteous Among the Nations

For decades we have been reporting on Poles who had been honored for saving Jewish lives during the Holocaust but this is the first time that we have spoken about the ceremony with a person who is among us on a daily basis. Joachim and his father journeyed to Israel at the invitation of the Yad Vashem Memorial Institute to receive the medal posthumously awarded to Danuta Ciecierska and unveil her name on the Wall of Honor in the Garden of the Righteous.

We shall also note the coverage of entire Poland by Google Street View.
