Offside! The Polish "Devil" retains the WBC belt
WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Włodarczyk defended his title in Moscow beating Beijing Olympic gold medalist Russian Rakhim Chakhkiev.
Wlodarczyk, known as 'Diablo or ‘Devil’, who competes in the cruiser-weight category, is the only Polish world champion in the sport. He has 48 victories to his credit, two defeats and one draw. It was Chakhkiev's first defeat after 16 fights won in a row. Also in the program:
