The United States has expressed conditional interest in co-financing the construction of Poland's first nuclear power plant.

As Danuta Isler reports, the 'condition' is that American technology be used for the three gigawat power station, expected to become operational in 2020s.
"We've had discussions with [Polish energy giant] PGE. There is no formal application just yet but we would definitely welcome it if US technology was being considered,” he says.
