The Polish Baltic Sea resort of Sopot is hosting the most important world indoor track and field event this weekend.

Poland's best chance for gold is pole vaulter Anna Rogowska. Among the 37-strong Polish squad, the heroes may also be middle-distance runners Adam Kszczot and Marcin Lewandowski (800m), Kamila Lićwinko competing in high jump as well as shot-putter Tomasz Majewski, a double Olympic champion.
