  • Poland’s economy healthy, but structural reforms still needed. John Beauchamp interviews the IMF’s representative in Poland, James Roaf.

Ahead of the release of the latest regional report from the International Monetary Fund, John Beauchamp went to the IMF office in Warsaw to meet with the Fund’s regional representative, James Roaf, to talk about GDP, interest rates, and whether Poland is ready to join the euro.

“Macro policies are more or less set correctly, the issue is structural reform, structural policies to make the economy work better, to get the strogner growth that would help Poland in the long term,” the IMF’s James Roaf says.
