In the magazine: Poland's Foreign Ministry announces the winner of the first Solidarity Prize in recognition of activities to promote and protect democracy and civil liberties: Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Dzhemilev.

Also: the exhumation of a Stalinist-era mass grave at Warsaw’s Powązki cemetery is to resume this month after a winter break. So far the remains of 28 victims of the communist regime were identified by name thanks to a DNA database, out of a total number of 194 skeletons found at the site.
More about the project from Professor Marek Jasiński, a prominent archeologist of the University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway, a member of the research team of the Polish Genetic Database of Victims of Totalitarian Regimes.
