Poland will be an economy offering cheap sources of cheap labour, unless substantial investments are made to modernize its economy, says the Polish branch of Deloitte.

As Slawek Szefs finds out, more than half of Polish companies declare plans to increase spending R&D projects.
But the actual needs are far greater, if Polish enterprises have ambitions to successfully compete on international markets.
“[Poland] must work towards a qualitative change of its economy, replacing that which was based on low cost labor with a know-how type," explains Magdalena Burnat-Mikosz from Deloitte.
