Ritchie was interviewed by Paweł Siwek of Polish Radio’s domestic service, whose questions were translated into English by our reporter Michał Kubicki.
Alexandra Richie says that the main question that she attempted to answer in her book is ‘why, when the war was almost lost, the Germans came back and decided to destroy the city [of Warsaw] with such brutality’.
