Project Matzeva is an action launched by the From the Depths Foundation, which aims at finding the hundreds of forgotten and often devastated Jewish tombstones in Poland.
Project Matzeva is an action launched by the From the Depths Foundation, which aims at finding the hundreds of forgotten and often devastated Jewish tombstones in Poland.Many of them have been broken and used as building material or for other purposes.
The first step has taken volunteers and archeologists to the north eastern region of Poland.
