The Emigration Museum in Gdynia is preparing a range of events to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of composer Andrzej Panufnik.

September marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of Poland’s most prolific 20th century composers, Andrzej Panufnik.
A number of events are to be staged for the occasion, with a major celebration happening on the 6-7 September hosted by the Emigration Museum in Gdynia.
Reporter John Beauchamp speaks to the Emigration Museum’s Joanna Wojdyło on the events as well as how Panufnik escaped from Poland back in the 1950s.
