The ministry funds projects conducted in coordination with NGOs, local administration as well as central government institutions in the ex-Soviet state, worth around 6 million zloty, roughly 1.5 million euro, this year.
One of the projects for 2014 has been the setting up of pre-school centers in Georgia's rural areas.
"Access to pre-school education is limited. Even in the capital Tbilisi barely 50 percent of children attend kindergarten,” Aleksander Kalandadze from Civitas Georgica tells our reporter Slawek Szefs.
