President Komorowski at the UN
Poland's president Bronislaw Komorowski told the UN General Assembly during his speech last night that the Security Council needs urgent reforms to meet new threats in eastern Europe and in the Middle East.
Danuta Isler spoke to Jeffrey Young, a reporter of VOICE OF AMERICA to find out more about how the speech and Komorowski's appeal were received. "I am looking at his speech and what is see is that he was obviously more diplomatic and said less than what he had intended to say earlier" Young told our reporter adding that analysts stressed the symbolic value of Poland stepping forward in trying to constraint Russia in the UN.
