Hours before the concert, Michal Kubicki spoke to concertmaster Rafał Zambrzycki-Payne.
‘Everybody in the orchestra is very excited. It opens up a lot of new possibilities for the orchestra. It’s a big success for the architects. The hall feels quite intimate, even though it’s not small, seating 1, 600. From the public’s point of view, it feels as if the orchestra was playing next to you.’
