China has become of trade interest for Poland, and a recent conference in Warsaw called “Invest in China” showed that there are a number of areas in which Beijing and Warsaw are keen on developing.

In 2013, Chinese exports accounted for 9.4 percent of total imports to Poland, valued at 60.9 million zloty, around 15 million euro. On the other hand, Poland exported just 7.1 million zloty worth of goods to China in that year.

Also in the programme, with 25 years since the end of communism and 21 years since the opening of the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, economic and trade relations have gained ground, although a lot still has to be done in terms the UK’s trade balance with Poland. We speak to Chief Advisor to the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce, Michael Dembinski, for an overview.
