The US Senate Intelligence Committee has published a document which “examines the CIA’s secret overseas detention of at least 119 individuals and the use of coercive interrogation techniques, in some cases amounting to torture.”

As Slawek Szefs reports, Poland, though not directly mentioned, displays vivid interest in the presented findings.
“The matter is perplexing for Poland as certain standards of secrecy and law should be respected. This publication is bound to limit trust vested in the United States by some of its allies and other countries around the world,” Tomasz Siemoniak, deputy premier and MOD head, told Polish Radio.
