The Ponton Group of Sex Educators has released the findings of a probe into how human reproduction is taught to teenagers in Poland. The respondents in the survey, aged from 11 to 30, speak of outdated handbooks, repeated cases of incompetence among the teachers, and Christian ideology taught in class.

„Sometimes religious teachers also teach [sex education] and the two shouldn’t be mixed together, as these are two completely different subjects and what we would like to have is sex education based on scientific knowledge – not religious beliefs.”
