As Sławek Szefs reports, the timing and circumstances of the two developments drew mixed reactions from Polish politicians.

Officially, the Hungarian government leader arrived in Warsaw for a conference marking the 25th anniversary of the Polish Chamber of Commerce.

"In a frank and difficult conversation, I told Prime Minister Orban that unity of the European Union countries and the Visegrad Group is of paramount importance to the situation in Ukraine," PM Ewa Kopacz informed reporters.
