Oscar for ‘Ida’ a boost for Polish cinema
Film critic and director of the Polish Film Festival Michał Oleszczyk tells reporter Michał Kubicki that this success will make it easier for Polish film people to become part of big international projects.
“From now on, Polish producers who will try to mount a cooperation or co-production with international partners can always point to the success of ‘Ida’ and say: look, this is what we are capable of, this is a film that really captured the imagination of viewers around the world,” he says.
