New tunnel in Gdańsk to link sea and air hubs
An extraordinary project is right about to finish in Gdańsk, northern Poland - a one-kilometre-long tunnel under the Dead Vistula river...

It is a unique investment, which used a giant machine, called “The Mole”, whose purpose was to drill a tunnel for the future road which will link the sea port to the airport.
Our correspondent in Gdańsk, Maciej Bąk visited the construction site and talked with Iwona Żygowska, vicepresident of GIK, the company in charge of the tunnel’s construction.
