The Polish government has sent its largest delegation in years to Turkey, with a view to boosting export and luring investors.

“It’s a business invasion,” the head of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency has no doubt.

Alicja Baczyńska found that business figures from recent years show the decisionmakers’ confidence on both the Turkish and Polish side is not groundless.

The import of Turkish products to Poland rose by nearly 17 percent over the course of 2014, reaching 2.4 million dollars. Meanwhile, according to analysts at Oxford Economics, Poland’s export to the country is set to grow at an annual rate of up to 13 percent.
