Chopin Competition goes mobile
A special mobile app will allow music lovers worldwide to follow all stages of the International Chopin Piano Competition live.

As Sławek Szefs reports, this novel solution will be introduced in the 17th edition of the Competition, preliminary round auditions of which commence already this coming Monday.
“We’ve decided to make good use of the potential which surfaced already five years ago, when a spontaneously set up website and online broadcasts attracted some 600,000 listeners and viewers globally,” Artur Szklener, director of the National Fryderyk Chopin Institute and head of the International Chopin Piano Competition, told Polish Radio.
